What does the research tell us about the need and benefits of effective transition programs? How is Pennsylvania suggesting that early learning programs and districts frame their work? This session will provide the background information for the newly developed transition tool kit. The landmark Kindergarten study, Pianta’s work and Kagan’s framework will be explored.
