Introduction to the new Teacher Information Management System (TIMS). TIMS is an online system for the submission of applications for Pennsylvania educator certification. Included in the presentation: Access, use, helpful tools and support information for Pennsylvania PK-12 Educational Entities to use TIMS for verifying work experience for candidates for certification and submitting Emergency Permit requests to the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Target Audience

All Certifying officers or Chief School Administrators at all PK-12 educational entities as identified in Pennsylvania. Public schools, IUs, CTE, Approved Private Schools or entities eligible for emergency permits and validation of in-state teaching experience. Charter schools as well
