Robin MooreWebinar Description
Robin tells traditional and original stories from his roots in the Pennsylvania mountains as a way of stimulating listeners to go back to their own roots and create their own tales. Join Robin as he ties the history of “Groundhog Day” into this special presentation.
Robin will offer two 45-minute presentations, with stories age-graded for kids in each group. Robin begins at 9:30 AM with storylistening for K-3 classrooms. There will be time for question and answers from the K-3 audience. Beginning at 10:25 AM, Robin guides students grades 4-6 in the second hour, through his "Dreamwork" technique for developing both spoken and written stories. He shows kids the steps in the year-long process of putting a book together, from initial idea to finished product. Robin combines his skills as author, performer and workshop leader to give students, teachers and parents the tools to awaken the storyteller within.
Please Note: All grades are welcome and encouraged to join in for the entire program. This event will also be live streamed at http://ccitv.cciu.org
