Research has indicated that the road to college and career readiness begins at birth.  Research also demonstrates that learning begins at birth and that high-quality early learning programs help children arrive in kindergarten ready to succeed in school and life.  This research is the result of collaborations from the Reading Institute, the US Department of education and the National Institute for Literacy.  This shared information will increase awareness of Best Practices to be used with the migrant Preschool anf In-Home students to increase their literacy skills.
